Most LA hardwood fence projects fall between $75 and $180 per linear foot, fully installed. Premium horizontal Cumaru or Ipe runs higher; standard cedar privacy fencing runs lower. We give a fixed-price written quote after a free in-home walkthrough — no surprise change orders, no padding for HOA submittals.
A 100–200 foot fence runs 5–10 build days once permitted. Hardwood decks under 400 sq ft typically wrap in 7–14 days. We hand you a written schedule before we start and update it weekly. Our average 'first contact to final walkthrough' for fence work is 5–7 weeks, including HOA and permit time.
Most fences under 6 feet on private property don't require a permit, but anything taller, in a hillside zone, or on a corner lot usually does. Decks over 30 inches off grade require permits and engineering. We handle every permit submission, plan check, and inspection ourselves — it's included in the contract price.
Mexican hardwoods — Cumaru, Ipe, and Garapa — are our specialty. They outlast cedar 3-to-1 in LA's climate without composite. We also build with Western Red Cedar, redwood, and pressure-treated SPF when budget or HOA rules require it. Every board is hand-selected for grain and color before it touches your property.
Yes. We've submitted hundreds of architectural review packages across Beverly Hills, Hidden Hills, Bel Air, Calabasas, and Pacific Palisades HOAs. We prepare the drawings, material samples, and elevations your committee needs and we attend the meeting if asked. Approval lead time is typically 2–4 weeks depending on the HOA.
Yes. California State License Board #964664, in good standing since 2011. We carry $2M general liability, full workers' compensation, and a contractor's bond. We provide certificates of insurance to any client or HOA on request, and we're happy to add additional insureds for property managers or estate teams.
Yes. We partner with two lenders that specialize in home improvement financing — fixed-rate terms from 24 to 144 months, no prepayment penalties, soft-pull pre-qualification. Most clients are approved within an hour. We can also work with construction draws on larger backyard renovations if you prefer a traditional bank.
We back our craftsmanship for as long as you own your home. If a board cups, a post leans, a hinge fails, or anything we built doesn't perform — we fix it on our dime, no fine print, no diagnostic fee. Wood is wood and patinas with time, but structural failure is on us, period.
